The purpose of this workshop is not to teach iphone, afterall, not that everyone can master any programming in 4 days. Being an iOS evangelist, my objective is to interest you to join mobile developers especially iOS. Begin jump ship to the world of mobile industry. Express yourself, Impress others, by building your own tools and games and apps. We should embrace the world to transit into an era of smart phones, Let Us Be Smart. The reason why i wanted to start with tab based navigation apps is because, i intended to start with a level where suitable for any developer or developer-to-be to start picking up from. This is definitely not "Hello World" kind of thing. In any form of training, for it to be successful, 90 % is effort from the trainee and 10 % from the trainer. When a programmer becomes proficient building navigation apps, basically he can also many other general apps. But its a good place to start from. Beside, tab based navigational apps are so popular style of app among most Apple apps. One notably is the iPod App which is built based on the tab based navigational app. This kind of app is also especially good for data driven applications, where you want to quickly and efficiently populates, manipulate and display results.
