This is basically like a bookstore. The author is a lawyer and this app is originally intend and dedicated to her loving daughter. This is an iPad application. Features include audio recording functions that can allow kids to record their narations. The app also include naration by the author herself. This first book is a fairy tale story in set in the context of Singapore with a tropical, asian feel.

The latest iPhone game (Lite)/($1.99) : 300 metres Range

In my unit, we are still using the M16 variant, AR-15, which is a very very old post war combat rifle, but reliable, relatively lighter than the new SAR-21. Rules of the Individual Marksman Proficiency Test Shooting Range have just changed. Most of us find very hard to adapt to this new rule. Nowadays its no longer called 'IMPT' since it becomes group effort. (Marksman for the entire chamber based on a hitting a certain team score). Certain part of the range require us to cross fire to other lanes, that is the confusing part. That time our team are so close to get a marksman. Last time my individual day score i only short of 1 to get full score. Now the not so good player may just pull down your score. This app is written to supposely to help people train for the IMPT. Night shoot is available only in the paid version, and also to compete in the honour roll versus firers from many other countries. So far only a few got marksman.

An iPhone utility ($4.99) : Stabilize Camera

This utility is almost equivalent to Android's Camera function to capture image only after the user stops fidgeting. Under minimal movement, sufficient lighting, and getting the right focusing, will the camera take the snap. This is great for taking picture of notes, business cards etc. This app currently is not yet supported on iPad due to some hardware limitations.

An iPhone utility ($4.99) : HeartBeat Sensor

This utility is my first attempt to create a clinical instrument for use in taking heart rate measurements. Use of actual clinical instruments proves that this utility works perfectly and you may be stunned by the accuracy. Note that the technology relies on suitable lighting conditions and if the person is actually breathing or not.

An iPhone utility ($4.99) : AVNoiseless

This utility is based on a Low-Pass-Filter (LPF) which is implemented using the lowest level of core audio services (Remote IO audio units). iPhone SDK core audio services comes with 3 levels - the highest level being AVPlayerController, which does simple play, pause, stop functions; the middle level being Audio Queue services which can perform more sopisticated stuffs like changing pitch, gain etc; the lowest level being Remote IO audio units which is the closest to the audio hardware. It can perform serious business like sound processing one of them is which is the LPF. This app allows users to record voice in noisy environment and playback which controlling the clarity of the voice using a coefficient. A lossless audio is recorded as a wav soundfile in file share to allow easy export via iTunes.

An iPhone game (Lite)/($1.99) : Police&Mobster

This game looks particular similar the the Police&Thief formerly, except this is a full fledge, single player game(offline). The former game Police&Thief is basically meant for iphone workshop material. This commercial game Police&Mobster or Police&Mob features brand new levels and maps, AI enemy players which will move around (compare to the static enemies in Police&Thief). Time to complete per level is still 6 mins. Enemies get more aggressive every level. Try the trial version with only 5 levels. For the full version the final level has a full gigantic map that is also featured in Police&Thief. Currently working on a GOLD version to be released soon.

Another iPhone game (free) : Police&Thief

You are a 2 man team. Thieves are all over the map. Your duty is to hunt down all thieves in 6 mins. Don't leave your team mate behind. Kill all thieves to win the game.

My second iPhone App ($1.99) : WheelSpin (originally aka Wheel of $)

This is perhaps one of the most earliest and foremost "Wheel of Fortune" similar game in iPhone. (Before Sony actually acquire the WHEEL OF FORTUNE rights to publish one of the original series.)

There are 5 normal rounds, players upon winning from the 5 rounds gain access to a bonus round.

Players can play with each other or they can engage AI players to play with.

My First Free iPhone App : Einstein Brains

It was purported that the Quiz written by Einstein in the last century that 98% of world's population cannot solve this puzzle.

The Quiz goes like this, there are 4 stated Facts (game rules). "There are 5 houses in different colors. 5 owners drink a certain beverage, smoke a certain brand of cigar and keep a certain pet. No owner have the same pet, smoke the same brand of cigar, or drink the same drink. Each owner is a different nationality and live in a different house." Einstein gave 15 hints about them such as "The Brit lives in a red house". From there we have to plot our way to solve this mystery: "Who Keeps the Fish?".
